Back by popular demand is a mid-week trip to ski in West Virginia! Join us on a carpool trip to the recently renovated Timberline Ski Resort and Canaan Valley – only 6 hours from Cincinnati. This trip is mid-week to avoid the crowds, is very affordable, has convenient lodging with lots of amenities, and gives you options to ski at two resorts.
Lodging is at the Canaan Valley Resort & Conference Center, only a few miles from each ski area. On-site are two reasonably priced restaurants, a bar where we can meet up with friends, and a spa and fitness center. In addition, each hotel room has 2 beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and wi-fi.
The lift ticket cost is not included since there are so many options. For example, Perfect North pass holders of any type get a 50% discount at Timberline. Some may want to ski both resorts, some only one. Group, multiple day tickets and senior pricing is also available. When the trip fills, we’ll decide if group prices are available and then work out what options are best for you.
Timberline, now owned by Perfect North Slopes, has a 6-pack lift that gets you up the mountain in only 4 minutes, plus 2 other new lifts, state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming equipment, and a remodeled day lodge. The terrain will please the experts, but also has lots to offer beginners and intermediate skiers. Canaan Valley has excellent snowmaking equipment, day lodges, and skiing for everyone on its 47 runs.

Carpool trip – drivers and passengers will make their own arrangements and split costs.
Cancellation Policy: on or before 9/14/22 - $20; after 9/14/22 - $20 plus all non-recoverable costs.
Payment Schedule: Make checks payable to Cincinnati Ski Club (not CSC).
