MAMMOTH CAVE CAR POOL TRIP APRIL 23 - 25, 2021 Cost $81 per person Join us for a car pool trip to Mammoth Cave. It is about a three hour drive to Cave City, Kentucky, where we will be staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites. The rooms have 2 Queen Beds and small re-frigs and microwaves. Breakfast is included and the hotel has an indoor pool and a small game room. There are restaurants (both sit down and carry out) in walking distance and we will have a small ski club get together. (This hotel is not pet friendly but we can book you in the one next door which is, if necessary.) The entrance to Mammoth Cave is 10 miles from the hotel. The cost of cave tours is NOT included in the trip cost. Tours during the time we will be there will be available for sign up in late March and will cost between $10 and $20. If you are looking for something other than cave tours there are hiking trails near the cave entrance area and other trail considered “back country” hiking. Also, the Corvette Museum is 1/2 hr. away in Bowling Green, KY.Trip leader or co-trip leader needed. Contact Marilyn at marilynd@zoomtown if interested.
