An Exclusive Learning Adventure for Members of the Cincinnati Ski Club!
If you are interested in going on The ‘Best of Costa Rica’ trip, you will need to complete and sign a Cincinnati Ski Club Affiliated Event Waiver sign-up sheet. No payment is required at this time.
Sign-ups will start at the Wednesday, July 5th General Meeting. Affiliated Event sign-up sheets will be available at this meeting.
If you select to mail the waiver to me your waiver must be received no later than Wednesday, July 5 to be added to the list of individuals who are interested in traveling to Costa Rica with other CSC members next year.
Please note the ski club is not liable for lost, stolen or delayed mail.
In the event this trip goes to lottery, the Affiliated Event Sign-Up Sheet must be received by July 5.

Program Overview:

Costa Rica’s pervading cultural ideology unites with its natural delights to create a unique national character, in which 25 percent of the land is preserved by law and there is no standing military. This invigorating program explores the essential nature of this Central American nation, from its pristine beaches and verdant forests to its rural villages and historic capital.
Program Highlights:
Learn from naturalists about the unique features of the rain forest, wetlands and transition zones. Participate in cultural activities in rural communities. Admire the misty beauty and unique characteristics of a cloud forest during a trail hike and expert presentation.
Program Prices:
Double and Single Occupancy: $2,899 (2)
Activity Level: Keep the Pace – Walking up to 1.5 hours a day over uneven trails in hot and humid conditions. Includes a number of bus transfers; no bathroom on bus but bus stops every 1.52 hours. Elevations up to 4,000 feet.
1) September is the nesting season for Green Sea Turtles at Tortuguero. During this special time of the year, the program will include a nighttime walk along the beach led by a local guide for an opportunity to observe sea turtles as they come ashore to lay eggs.
2) Please note that there are limited number of free singles. Upon enrollment, round-trip airfare available through Road Scholar Travel. Services.
